I love this completely unguarded shot of David. This was taken at the end of a particularly long and grueling day of interior shooting under hot lights. I took this in between cameras rolling with only one light source and no flash; I like the combination of Bowie’s hair tone and the orange glow given off by the lamp.

This candid gained great publicity in magical society throughout all of Europe; quickly becoming one of the most famous pictures of the decade, and a globally recognized icon of french fashion.
